Contact Me

There are several ways you can contact me. You may contact me via email at jackscott1947@gmail.com

I can be contacted through Yahoo Messenger as westhoustonguy47.

Finally, I also have a Google Voice number which I sometimes share with people who I have an ongoing dialogue.

Please don't hesitate to contact me if you wish. One of the reasons I blog is because I like honest discussion of controversial issues. Bisexuality is a controversial issue to say the least.

I've been a bisexual male all my life and I still don't completely understand bisexuality. From time to time, through discussions with others or through the comments of others, I receive new insight into my bisexuality. Sometimes the new insight affirms something I have thought to be true about bisexuality. Other times, the new insight causes me to change my mind about something I had thought to be true concerning bisexuality. I believe I am intellectually honest and capable of viewing bisexuality dispassionately. If you're not able to do the same, there is no reason to contact me.

Homosexuality and bisexuality cross all racial, ethnic and cultural barriers. They also cross all religious barriers including fundamental Christianity. It is part of the reason I have come to believe all human sexuality is a spectrum or an array of behaviors and desires. Some of these sexual behaviors and desires most likely have environmental triggers; but I believe one's basic heterosexuality, bisexuality or homosexuality is determined by a number of genetic influences. Those genetic influences cannot be changed. In all the hundreds and hundreds of bisexual and homosexual men I have known or talked with through the years, I have never found a single one who feels he chose to be homosexual or bisexual. I have never met a single person whose sexual orientation has effectively changed in the long term.

Therefore, I have no desire to discuss cures for homosexuality. I don't believe they exist. I also have no desire to discuss homosexuality as a sin no matter how much you might be convinced it is a sin and how much you feel the need to evangelize me. On the other hand if you are trying to learn how to live your life as a bisexual man and are struggling with your faith and your guilt, I'm more than willing to talk with you.  Anything else concerning bisexuality, I'd be happy to discuss with you s long as you are willing to open  your mind to new ways of seeing yourself.

I struggled with my bisexuality for many years. The struggle for self understanding never really ends for any of us in my opinion, but I am at peace with my bisexuality now. If you're still struggling with yours, don't hesitate to contact me.

Anyone can comment on what I write in this blog. Regretfully, the recent amount of spam in my email account as required that I reinstate the word verification process for comments which I personally hate.

But at the same time I have loosened the comment moderation process so that those of you who have a Google Blogger ID or other recognized blogger ID will no longer need to wait for your comment to be moderated. I'm hoping this will tempt you to take the trouble to comment.

The truth is I want respectful comments both from those who agree with me and those who do not. All I as is that you keep comments to the point, clean and non-threatenting.

I look forward to hearing from each of you.
